Displaying Quotes
The w3-panel class is the perfect class to display quotes.
Quotes are often displayed with a grey background, a left border bar, and an italic font style:
Example
<div class="w3-panel w3-leftbar w3-light-grey">
<p class="w3-xlarge w3-serif">
<i>"Make it as simple as possible, but not simpler."</i></p>
<p>Albert Einstein</p>
</div>
Large Quotes
Large quotes are often used on the Internet:
Example
<div class="w3-panel w3-leftbar w3-sand">
<p class="w3-xxlarge w3-serif">
<i>"Make it as simple as possible, but not simpler."</i></p>
<p>Albert Einstein</p>
</div>
Blockquotes
If you use the standard HTML <blockquote> element, notice that the browser will add an extra left and right margin:
"Make it as simple as possible, but not simpler."
Albert Einstein
Example
<blockquote class="w3-panel w3-leftbar w3-light-grey">
<p class="w3-large">
<i>"Make it as simple as possible, but not simpler."</i></p>
<p>Albert Einstein</p>
</blockquote>
Using HTML Symbols
You can use standard HTML symbols instead of ampersands:

✂ | #9986 |
❝ | #10077 |
❞ | #10078 |
❠ | #10080 |
✔ | #10004 |
