Alright, you know when you play with Play-Doh and you can create all sorts of things like animals, shapes, or pretend food? Generative AI is like that but in the computer world.
Generative AI is a type of computer program that can create new things. It’s like a magic box: you give it some information, and it creates something new for you.
For example, if you tell the computer to draw a picture of a unicorn but in the style of a rainbow, the Generative AI could create that even though it never saw that exact picture before. Or maybe you ask it to write a new song that sounds like a mix of your two favorite bands. The Generative AI can do that too!
So, Generative AI is like a super creative Play-Doh that can make new things in the digital world. But remember, it’s just a tool that humans use. It doesn’t think or have feelings like you and me.
